Reasi, Aug 11: In a continued effort to combat illegal mining and protect public resources, Reasi Police has taken decisive action against individuals involved in illicit mining activities. During a surprise operation conducted at multiple sites, police teams seized 05 vehicles engaged in the transportation of illegally mined material.
The operation was led by Dy.SP Hqrs Reasi including teams from Police Station Reasi, who inspected various locations and seized vehicles bearing registration numbers JK20C0137, JK20B6475, JK20B3109, JK20C0152, and JK20B3332. The Mining Officer has been informed to initiate necessary legal actions.
SSP Reasi, Mohita Sharma-IPS, emphasized Reasi Police’s unwavering commitment to protecting public property and eliminating illegal mining in the region. “We will continue to enforce stringent measures to uphold the law and safeguard the community’s resources,” she assured.
