Career counselling session held at Humanity Public School

Jammu/Samba, Aug 12 : Hr. Secondary education might not be enough to get a job but there are newer avenues outside conventional careers that have opened up. Over 150 students of Humanity Public School Bassi Kalan learnt about career opportunities in commerce during a career counselling session organised by school administration. CA Akanksha Gupta, an associate member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, expert in career counselling was the Resource Person on the occasion. She has been practicing CA for the past 4.5 years and completed her graduation in commerce from the University of Jammu in 2018.
The session was aimed at giving motivation to students and facilitating career choices after school education in commerce stream.
To grace the occasion School Principal Mr Gaurav Charak, Vice Principal, Mrs. Anku Charak and Parsidh Singh (Incharge High Secondary Wing) were also present
Khushboo Verma (10th) commenced the session with a welcome note for the speaker. Afterwards, Akanksha Gupta shed light on various academic paths in commerce & management, sharing her own journey of becoming a CA with the students. She comprehensively discussed the diverse job opportunities of these courses, providing valuable insights into future career prospects. She also motivated students to pursue CA and CS as a career as they get an opportunity to serve the nation by improving the economy. Students were curious and knew different branches and enquired about the courses available in reputed institutions. The session was very informative and educative for the students. The special aspect of the session was that it was highly interactive and the students interacted with the Resource Person in a friendly atmosphere.
School Principal Mr. Gaurav Charak said, “We are honored to partner with Ms. Akanksha Gupta to provide career guidance to these deserving students.” He remarked. “This session undoubtedly equipped them with the knowledge and tools to choose their ideal career paths and pursue promising opportunities. We are incredibly grateful for her involvement in supporting the youth and helping them chart a brighter future.”
