| Bhasin asks party workers to propagate PDP’s policies | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Mar 21- PDP General Secretary Daman Bhasin has exhorted the party workers to educate the masses about programs and policies of the party. He said that that only PDP can fulfill wishes and aspirations of the all regions and sub-regions of the state.
Addressing a meeting of the workers of Gandhi Nagar zone here today organized in connection with the preparations of the forthcoming Lok Sabha elections, Bhasin said that it was only during the regime of PDP that justice was given to Jammu and other regions. He reminded the party workers that Mufti Mohammad Sayeed as Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir has set an example of good governance and treated all regions equally. He especially mentioned that PDP regime has not only removed discrimination with Jammu region but also provided equal funds for all regions and sub-regions of the State. He further called upon the workers to properly educate the masses about policies of the party which aimed at treating all regions equal.
Speaking on the occasion, former Rajya Sabha member Trilok Singh Bajwa reminded the workers about situation on the borders when Mufti Mohammad Sayeed had taken charge of the Chief Minister. “PDP has not only translated its promises into reality but also initiated some revolutionary steps to mitigate miseries of the people”, he said and pointed out that it was only during the regime of PDP that problems of farmers and rural people were solved.
Lambasting National Conference for befooling people on false promises, he recalled that during assembly election, NC leaders had promised to recruit 8th pass in the Police but party has failed to fulfill this promise after getting power. He cautioned the people against those vested interests, who have launched malicious campaign against PDP. He said that Jammu and Kashmir is passing through a crucial juncture and the need of the hour is to strengthen hands of Mufti Mohammad Sayeed and Mehbooba Mufti.
The meeting was organized by Gandhi Nagar zone president Rashpal Bollowaria in which senior party leader Murtaza Khan, Ved Mahajan, Shanti Devi, Surjeet Kour, H R Chargotra and other senior leaders were present.
It was decided in the meeting to aggressively launch campaign for the coming Lok Sabha election.
