JAMMU, Aug 13: Government Degree College Majalta hosted a memorable Valedictory Function to mark the conclusion of its Internship Program. The event was graced by esteemed guests, including the Editor in Chief of Explore Media, Majalta, and the Incharge of Govt. Middle School Battal Majalta, who served as the Guests of Honor.
Dr. Shalini Sharma, the Principal of the institution, expressed her heartfelt gratitude to the honoured guests for their invaluable guidance and mentorship extended to the students throughout the internship. She emphasized the importance of such experiences in shaping the future of young professionals.
The ceremony commenced with the auspicious lighting of the ceremonial lamp, symbolizing the light of knowledge and the beginning of a new journey for the students. Two of the participating students took the stage to share their accomplishments and the skills they had acquired during their internship, highlighting the program's success.
The event was attended by the entire faculty of the college, including notable educators such as Dr. Chander Mohan, Dr. Shahnawaz Parveen, Prof. Kamal Jeet, Prof. Naresh Kumar, Prof. Anuradha and Prof. Dalip Kumar, who have played a pivotal role in guiding the students through their academic and professional journey.
The program concluded on a warm note with a vote of thanks delivered by Prof. Anuradha, the NSS Coordinator. She acknowledged the collective efforts of the faculty, the mentors, and the students in making the internship a fruitful endeavour.
