Stephens Group of Institutions hosts inaugural orientation for Stephens College of Pharmacy

JAMMU, Aug 13: Stephens Group of Institutions proudly hosted its inaugural orientation session for Stephens College of Pharmacy. The event was graced by a distinguished gathering, featured Esteemed Guests including B.R. Kundal, Former Chief Secretary of Jammu & Kashmir, and Monika Kohli, Senior Additional Advocate General of the J&K High Court accompanied by Chairman Dr. Kamal Saini (IPS, IGP Retd.), Director Satvinder Saini, Trustee Adv. Kunal Saini in company with Principal Stephens College of Nursing & Stephens Institute of Paramedical Sciences Prof. Kheema Peshion, and Principal Stephens College of Pharmacy Dr. Bilal Ahmad Zarger.
The session began with a traditional lamp lighting ceremony, symbolizing the illumination of knowledge. Shumyal, Assistant Professor, introduced the distinguished guests, while Trustee Adv. Kunal Saini delivered a warm welcome address. He expressed gratitude towards the dignitaries & motivated the students to excel in this field. Rajeshwar Sharma, Assistant Professor, presented decorative plants, and Dr. Bilal Ahmad Zarger presented mementos to the dignitaries as a gesture of gratitude.
The event featured insightful contributions from the Resource Persons, including Amrendra Kumar, Plant Head (Medley); Ferooz Ahmad, DGM Production; Pervaiz Ahmad, DGM Production Department; and Rajesh Kumar, GM Engineering Department. They shared their valuable experiences and discussed the expansive scope of the pharmacy profession.
The inaugural orientation underscored the commitment of Stephens Group of Institutions to foster excellence in pharmacy education and prepare students for a successful career in the field. Dr Bilal proposed Vote of Thanks. Prof. Ritu Gupta (Activity Incharge), Pallavi (Librarian), Itika (Assistant Professor) & Bharpoor Singh (Assistant Professor) were also present.
All the students of Pharmacy were euphoric after the session. Refreshment was also provided to the students.
