PTTI Vijaypur organizes Tiranga Rally & Plantation Drive

VIJAYPUR, Aug 13: Ahead of Independence Day celebrations and in remembrance of the martyrs who sacrified their lives for the freedom of our country, Police Technical Training Institute (PTTI) Vijaypur organized Tiranga Rally and Plantation Drive at the Institute. The officers/officials paid a tribute to the martyrs at the martyrs memorial and thereafter a Tiranga Rally was held as a part of Pre-Independence Day celebrations aimed to foster national unity and pride. The Rally was inaugurated by Principal PTTI Vijaypur, who highlighted the significance of Independence Day and the responsibility of police personnel in safeguarding the nation's unity and integrity. The event began with the unfurling of the national flag followed by a procession around the Institute by the participation of entire staff/trainees. After the culmination of Rally, a plantation drive under the theme "Ek Ped Shaheedin Ke Naam" was also organized on this occasion in which various types of plants, including ornamental, medicinal, herbal, and fruit-bearing plants, were planted within the Institute's premises. The event saw enthusiastic participation from the institute's staff and trainees, highlighting their commitment to environmental sustainability. Among others, Shri Zia-ul-Haq-DySP (Outdoor), Inspr. Surinder Singh (CDI), Inspr. Javeed Ahmad (RI), Inspr. Ram Lal (CLI), SI Sulinder Singh (SM-Outdoor), were present on the occasion.
