| Army Public School Damana celebrates 78th Independence Day | | |  Early Times Report
Jammu, Aug 13: Amidst the reverberating cheers and proud sentiments, Army Public School Damana celebrated 78th Independence Day on 13 August 2024.
To mark the occasion, a Special Morning Assembly was organized wherein the students enthralled the audience by presenting mellifluous Poem and Speech. Showcasing ebullience and chutzpah, the little ones expressed their respect to the tricolor and sang the National Song ‘Vande Mataram’ along with their teachers.To recuperate the aura of the vibrant day and add more vibrancy to the celebration, a reveling and scintillating dance performance was presented by the students followed by Inter-House Patriotic Song & Inter-House Patriotic Dance Competition. The staff and students then took ‘Panch Pran Pledge’ as suggested by CBSE to uphold the integrity and sovereignty of the nation.
The school condominium splashed with the zeal of patriotism and gaiety throughout the day as the students participated in different activities like Collage Making, Poster Making & Kite Making etc revealing a sense of patriotism which reminded us of the immense sacrifices of those heroes who gave up their lives for the freedom of the nation.
Addressing the staff and students, Mrs Pushpinder Kaur, Principal of the school elucidated about the importance of tricolor and the true meaning of freedom. She urged the students to always respect their nation and maintain peace and harmony in the country. |
