| GDC Thannamandi elects Shiraz Ahmed as staff secretary | | |

THANNAMANDI, Aug 14: The Teaching faculty of Government Degree College Thannamandi unanimously elected Dr. Shiraz Ahmed, Head Department of Zoology as staff secretary of the college for the session 2024-25.
Dr. Shiraz in his address thanked the staff for reposing faith in him and assured to work for betterment of the College and Staff. The entire election process was carried out under the supervision of the Election Commissioner, Dr. Nassem Ahmed Malik and under the overall guidance of senior faculty members Dr. Nazakat Hussain.
The new staff secretary was greeted and felicitated with a bouquet of Flowers by staff of the college. The contribution of Ex. Staff Secretary Asif Ajaz Lone, Head Department of Physics also highlighted and appreciated.
Dr. Farooq Ahmed, Principal, GDC Thannamandi congratulated the staff secretary and other office bearers on their unanimous election and hoped that the elected team shall work for the betterment of the College.
Prominent among others present on the occasion were Dr. Ashaq Malik, Dr. Abdul Haque Naimi, Rakesh Puri, Dr. Nazar Ul Islam, Dr. Junaid Ahmed, Dr. Gulshan Rashid Bhat, Anuj Bali, Dr. Ather Aziz Raina, Prof Rumy Dar, Dr. Nagina Kouser and Prof Rizwana Kouser. |
