| Police nabs 2 bike lifters, recovers 3 stolen motorcycles | | |  Early Times Report
SAMBA, Aug 14: Acting sternly under Operation AVTAR, Police Station Bari Brahmana has arrested 2 bike theives and has recovered 3 stolen motorcycles from their possession.
Arrested thieves have been identified as Mukesh Kumar s/o Sohan Lal r/o Chakmohdyar, RS Pura Jammu & Sodhi Lal s/o Ashok Kumar r/o Phinder Nousherh, Jammu. It is informed that a FIR No. 99/2024 u/s 303(2) BNS was registered in Police Station Bari Brahmana on 10/08/2024 regarding theft of a bike bearing registration number PB07AN-8281.
A search of accused was launched by Police Station Bari Brahmana and within few days both accused involved in lifting the bike were arrested with the help of CCTV footage and technical surveillance. Further on their voluntary disclosure, 3 stolen motorcycles bearing registration numbers JK21C-1732 , JK02-8673 & PB07AN-8281 were recovered.
Samba Police remains committed to take all steps necessary to bring criminals to justice, however police requests citizens cooperation and urges them to not leave their vehicles unattended in unlocked condition on road. |
