| 78th Independence Day celebrated with Patriotic Zeal at SCERT J&K Divisional Office, Jammu | | |  Early Times Report
JAMMU, Aug 16: The 78th Independence Day of India was celebrated with an enthusiastic display of patriotic spirit at the SCERT J&K Divisional Office , Jammu under the mentorship of Prof. (Dr.) Parikshat Singh Manhas, Director , SCERT J&K, and guided by H.R. Pakhroo, Joint Director, Central move office. The event commenced with the hoisting of the National Flag by Prof. (Dr.) Sindhu Kapoor, Joint Director of the Jammu Division, followed by a heartfelt formal rendition of the National Anthem.
In her inspiring address, Prof. (Dr.) Sindhu Kapoor honoured the national heroes whose sacrifices secured India's independence. She called on the faculty to reaffirm their dedication to safeguarding this precious legacy and to actively contribute to the nation's ongoing journey towards progress. Prof. Kapoor emphasized that the responsibility of shaping the future lies in the hands of educators, urging them to instill in the younger generation the values of freedom, unity and innovation. She reminded everyone that true independence is not just about remembering the past but also about building a future where every citizen can thrive in a prosperous and harmonious nation.
The celebrations featured captivating performances by the SCERT faculty, including Shamim Nazki, Abha Verma, and Manisha Chun who all infused their acts with the spirit of patriotism and nationalism.
