Humanity Public School conducted / organised investiture ceremony

JAMMU, Aug 17: The Investiture Ceremony was held at Humanity Public School, Bassi Kalan, Bari Brahmana. It was a solemn occasion where young students were prepared to don the mantle of leadership and discharge the responsibilities entrusted to them by the school. The school invested its newly appointed Student Council with 'praefectorial' responsibilities in the School Cabinet Initiation Ceremony.
The occasion was graced by School principal, Gaurav Charak, Vice- Principal, Anku Charak, Ravinder Sadhu (Administrator Officer), Akashdeep Raina (Senior Incharge), Parsidh Singh (Incharge , Hr. Sec. Wing), Namrta Sharma (Incharge, Senior Wing), Vandana Sharma (Incharge, Primary wing), Aparna Billowria (Incharge, Pre-Primary Wing), Mahan Singh (Sports Incharge), Er. Varinder Kumar (IT/ Computer Incharge).
The ceremony commenced by presenting a prayer song to invoke the blessings of Goddess Saraswati as a symbol of commitment to seek knowledge and embrace learning in every aspect of life. From the Hr. Sec. Wing, Gayatri Singh Charak (12th) was appointed as the Head Girl and the Head Boy post went to Surya Sharma (12th). The post of Dy. Head Girl went to Bhumika Charak (11th) and Gurvinder Kumar (11th) was appointed as Dy. Head Boy. For the post of School Sports Captain (Boy), Piyush Narania and for School Sports Captain (Girl) Manyata Billowria of class 11th was selected. Shubam Singh of class 11th and Tushangi of class 12th were elected as the Co-Curricular Prefects. Other two posts House Captains and Vice-Captains of different houses named Agni, Akash, Trishool and Prithvi were also elected. Afreen (10th), Kritika Verma (10th), Khushboo (10th) and Ananaya (10th) were appointed as Captains of Agni, Akash, Prithvi and Trishool house proportionality.
Whereas Ashwik (9th), Prince Kundal (10th), Krishna (9th) and Nimrat Pal Singh (9th) were appointed as Vice- Captains of Agni, Akash, Prithvi and Trishool house distinctively. However Ishika (10th), Abneet (9th), Snover (10th) and Harivansh (9th) were elected as House Prefects of Agni House, Aakash House, Prithvi House and Trishool House respectively.
The elected School Cabinet took the oath and promised to carry in hearts, the values that they have imbibed over the years. They also swore to do their duties to the best of their abilities. An awe inspiring moment of putting sashes and badging the leaders highlighted the event. School Principal put the sashes and Vice principal pinned the badges to the leaders to signify the responsibility.
The Principal of the school, Mr. Gaurav Charak congratulated the elected School cabinet and urged them to work in harmony and create synergy which would help them achieve excellence. He also said that HPS looks forward to the contributions of its student leaders in various school initiatives and activities, setting a positive example for their peers and younger students alike.
The Vice-Principal, Anku Charak also congratulated newly appointed School Cabinet. She also endorsed the importance of developing leadership traits early in life in order to turn the young learners to global citizens of substance, later in life.
Incharges of distinguished wings also wished the Cabinet appointees of the school and advised them to resilient and to fulfil their responsibilities.
