| LG announces special offer in festival season. | | | Jammu/Sept.21: LG Electronics, the leading consumer durable company in the country, announced its marketing strategy for the festive season today and launched its unique “LG Toon Dhoom” scheme for its valued customer from 21st of Sept. to 21st of Oct. and targets a turnover of Rs. 2500 crore from the season. “ The festive season is the most important season for us and the launch of our new offer and products is an endeavor on our part to renew and strengthen our relationship with our customers. LG has earmarked a whopping Rs. 100 crore as the total marketing spend for the festive campaigns across India. The forthcoming festival season will further reiterate our leadership position.” Said RM Punjab, Naveen Banga while addressing a press conference here today. Talking about the innovative marketing strategy he said that LG has always been known for its unique marketing initiatives that have broken through the clutter and made powerful impact on the minds in the consumer’s mind. This Diwali they have also brought two characters that have a universal appeal that pans across the age groups – cartoon network iconic Tom & Jerry, which will campaign LG Toon Doom this year.
Speaking about the offer he said that new offer promises customers to win exciting gifts on the purchase of any LG product. The assured gifts range from a set of five DVDs, Divinity gold plated souvenirs, Fastrack sunglasses, Reebok /Addidas T-shirts to utility Kitchenware. Lucky winners can also win an26 LG LCD T, or an LG Laptop or an exciting LG GSM phone. The LG Toon Doom promotion is valid across all states except Kerla, on purchase of every product except for institutional sales, ACs, Moniters, Optical storage devices, GSM phones, DVD players and 14” CTV.
