| SSP Jammu holds introductory meeting with officers at DPL | | |  Early Times Report
Jammu, Aug 18: Senior Superintendent of Police Jammu Shri Joginder Singh-JKPS after taking over the charge held an introductory meeting to take a first hand review of law and order,Crime & Security scenario of the district in District Police Lines Jammu.All the supervisory officers,SHO’s ,ICPP’s& IC BPP’s posted in the district attended it.
Senior Superintendent of Police Jammu has stressed upon the officer’s to work with diligence and to maintain highest level of integrity.
Besides this he has asked officers to reach out to the people and resolve their issues pertaining to police department.
The core areas of policing such as eradication of meance of drugs/ terrorism/ upholding rule of law which has a bearing on the society has to be accorded top priority. Besides this the people’s problems is required to be attended & addressed on priority and to ensure access to the public at all the times.
He stressed on officers to take all necessary steps including preventive measures to reign in criminal elements operating in their jurisdictions.
He further underscored the role of police for uploading the rule of law and for a crime free society & also stressed upon officers to adopt proactive,pro-public policing and make visible presence & impact on ground.
He also asked officers to take all measures for welfare of the jawans working under their command. |
