| Train crushes woman to death in Kashmir | | | Early Times Report
Srinagar, Mar 21 : A woman was crushed to death by train at a railway station in south Kashmir today, police said.
Police said a woman Hassina was going to purchase ticket for Srinagar at Panzgam railway station when her burqa got tied with the running train.
She died on the spot before the train could stop at the railway station, it said.
This was the second accident since the rail was introduced between central Kashmir district of Badgam to south Kashmir district of Anantnag last year. The rail links has been extended to Baramulla this year.
A student was killed when he came under train at Chanapora bridge last year. |
