NC's manifesto misleading, promises unachievable: Kavinder
8/19/2024 10:03:16 PM
Early Times Report
JAMMU, Aug 19: Senior BJP leader and former deputy Chief Minister, Kavinder Gupta on Monday slammed NC leadership for once again trying to mislead people through its unachievable promises.
In a hard hitting statement issued to media persons, the BJP stalwart leader claimed that NC's manifesto is nothing more than plethora of lies as people of J&K know well about the misgovernance and misrule of this party which remained in power in the past.
He said that during the rules of NC leaders including Dr Farooq Abdullah and Omar Abdullah, the erstwhile state of J&K was in complete mess with worst ever law and order situation. He also accused the NC leadership of mishandling the industry during their tenure as many units saw their downfall due to policy deficit of the chief ministers of this party. He said it is astonishing that NC leadership is time and again criticizing BJP for unemployment but the fact is that it was NC governments which took this serious matter phlegmatically and ruined the future of hundreds of youths in their terms.
Kavinder said that Modi Government has taken many effective steps to bring J&K back on tracks and undo the misdeeds of the NC governments in the past. He said that people are well aware about the policies and plans of BJP and therefore no document full of lies issued to public by the NC leadership can change their mind as it is only BJP which has the will and the power to ensure welfare of the people without any prejudice or discrimination, which was the hallmark of NC government that led to wedge between people of Kashmir and Jammu, as all the decisions taken during their time were lop sided and full of partialities.
The former deputy Chief Minister asked the party cadre to spare no effort in educating the public about the pivotal achievements of the Modi Government in transforming this union territory. Emphasizing the importance of reaching out to every corner, he highlighted how the BJP government's initiatives have brought unprecedented development, improved infrastructure, and enhanced the quality of life for the people of Jammu and Kashmir. He stressed that it is crucial to convey these accomplishments to ensure the public recognizes the positive changes. He called on the party cadre to work tirelessly to ensure the victory of the BJP in the upcoming Assembly polls, securing a prosperous future for the region.
