JAMMU, Aug 20: Students of Semester 5 completed their 15 days Summer Internship on Disaater Management with the prestigious 2ND Bn of SDRF. 14 students with Major subject as Geography underwent this training. This training programme included hands on training to the students to deal with various natural and man made disasters like Fracture, Snake bite, burns, Floods, Earthquake and accidents. Studenta also received Practical Training in providing CPR, EMS (Emergence Medical Response) on the site, Lifting and moving of the patient. On successful completion of the training all the students were issued Certificates by SDRF. This Intership Programme has instilled a sense of confidence in them and will go long way in shaping their personalities to become responsible citizens of the Nation . |
