Weekly plantation drive held at Vishwa Yog Sansthan

JAMMU, Aug 20: The Vishwa Yog Sansthan continued its commitment to a cleaner and greener Jammu by holding its weekly plantation drive on Tuesday as part of the ongoing "Clean and Green Jammu" movement. This drive is organized every Tuesday, emphasizing the importance of environmental conservation. Several medicinal and beneficial plants were planted during the event, marking a significant contribution to the ecological well-being of the region. The Vishwa Yog Sansthan, a non-profit organization dedicated to societal and environmental welfare, is known for its daily free yog classes and active involvement in tree planting.
The plantation drive followed the morning yog session, with enthusiastic participation from all volunteers and students of the Vishwa Yog Sansthan. The event highlighted the organization's pledge to make Jammu cleaner and greener.
The event was graced by the presence of esteemed guests, including former corporators Sham Lal Bassan and Bansi Lal Gupta, who welcomed and honored Ramesh Kumar, Exian PDD Jammu, for his support and contributions. Yog Guru Karan Ji addressed the people of Jammu, encouraging them to participate in a yog and plantation drive. He emphasized the importance of incorporating daily yoga practice, maintaining a proper diet, and caring for the environment, which he referred to as "Karma Yog". He offers free yog classes every day and advocates for a holistic approach to health and well-being that includes physical, mental, and environmental care.
The dedication and active participation of the students and volunteers of Vishwa Yog Sansthan were commendable, reinforcing the organization's ongoing efforts to promote environmental sustainability and the well-being of the community.
