JAMMU, Aug 20: Kavinder Gupta, senior BJP leader and former Deputy Chief Minister, today underscored the remarkable strides Jammu and Kashmir has made in development under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
The senior BJP was speaking after inaugurating the 1st branch of Capital Small Finance Bank at KC Plaza, Residency Road, Jammu. The inauguration event was graced by prominent figures including Arun Gupta, President of the Chamber of Commerce; Varun Gupta, Branch Head of Capital Small Finance Bank; Vivek Mahajan, Cluster Head; and Manoj Sodhi, Regional Head. Their presence underscored the collaborative efforts of various stakeholders in fostering economic development and providing enhanced financial services to the people of Jammu and Kashmir.
In his address, the BJP stalwart said that the opening of the Capital Small Finance Bank's branch is expected to provide a significant boost to the local economy by offering accessible financial services and fostering entrepreneurial activities in the region.
He emphasized that the Jammu and Kashmir Union Territory is witnessing an era of unprecedented growth and progress, driven by the policies and initiatives of the Modi government. He highlighted the government's commitment to enhancing infrastructure, boosting local economies, and improving the overall quality of life for the residents of Jammu and Kashmir.
"The establishment of this new branch of Capital Small Finance Bank is a testament to the flourishing economic environment in our region. It reflects the confidence of financial institutions in Jammu and Kashmir's growth potential and their commitment to serving the local community," he said.
Kavinder reiterated that the BJP-led government's focus on development is unwavering. He expressed confidence that with continued support and effective implementation of developmental schemes, Jammu and Kashmir will continue to thrive and emerge as a model of progress and prosperity.
