Civil Defence starts 5 day training programme

JAMMU, Aug 21: On the directions of Directorate of HG, CD and SDRF J&K, 05 days Civil Defence basic training programme was started at Govt. Degree College for women Parade, Jammu under the supervision Dy. SP. Anita Pawar, Deputy Controller Civil Defence, Jammu. In the training camp 59 Students of College are attending the said training. This training is on the knowledge of First Aid, prevention, management and control of Fire Fighting, Snake bite, Choking and other basic life saving technique and preventive measures during the natural/ manmade disaster.
On the inaugural programme of the training, Dy. SP. Anita Pawar delivered a lecture and highlighted the role of Civil Defence and importance of this training. She emphasized that this training is considered very beneficial for the daily life of every person, so everyone should attend the training.
Paramjit Kumar, Chief Warden Civil Defence, Jammu, Sh. R. Vijay Magotra, Dy. Chief Warden Civil Defence, Jammu, Dr. Gurpreet Kour Coordinator of the programme, Dr. Palak Malhotra Dr. Neha Gupta, Dr. Qayoom Choudhary and other staff of the College also present on the occasion.
