Polling staff imparted training in Bhaderwah

BHADERWAH, Aug 22: Election Training Program was held today in the Community Hall Bhaderwah. The session, an essential part of the preparations for the upcoming J&K Assembly Elections 2024, saw participation from designated polling staff from across the region.
Chief Planning Officer (CPO) Manish Kumar Manhas supervised and closely monitored the training activities. He imparted guidance to the participants on different aspects of the election process, such as the handling of Electronic Voting Machines (EVMs), Voter Verifiable Paper Audit Trails (VVPATs) and stressed on strict adherence to the Election Commission of India guidelines.
Master Trainer Dr. Akhter Hussain gave a comprehensive presentation on the conduct of the election process. He called the attention of the staff towards accurate identification of voters and stressed the importance of handling EVMs with care. The training concluded with a Q&A session, allowing participants to clarify procedural details. Dr. Nazir Ahmed, Assembly Nodal Officer, and other trainers were also present at the event.
