| SDM Mendhar inaugurated Electoral Literacy Club at HSS Boys Mendhar | | | Early Times Report
MENDHAR, Aug 22: A program on Systematic Voters' Education and Electoral Participation (SVEEP) was organized at Govt. HSS Boys Mendhar wherein an ELC club was inaugurated by Imran Rashid Kataria worthy SDM Mendhar who was also the chief guest of the event, while Rahul ji Basotra Tehsildar Mendhar,who was the guest of honour.
With the activation of the ELC Club, HSS Boys has taken a significant step towards promoting electoral literacy awareness among the students. The program held under the supervision of Muhammad Latief Choudhary Dy. CEO Poonch who is also the Nodal Officer of SVEEP for 90-Mendhar AC, the program aimed to educate students about the electoral process through activation of ELC in the school and encourage them to become active citizens. An ELC Club consisting of 20 students from Class 9th to 12th was constituted to promote electoral literacy among the youth. Addressing the gathering, worthy SDM emphasized the importance of voter participation and encouraged students to take an active role in promoting electoral awareness. Bashar Mir teacher Hss Mankote also spoke on the occasion about various activities which ELC club will have to undertake in the institution. |
