JU'S Bhaderwah campus hosts dynamic "Management Club Activity"

BHADERWAH, Aug 22: The School of Management Studies at Bhaderwah Campus, University of Jammu, successfully hosted an engaging and vibrant Management Club Activity today. The event, aimed at fostering the professional and personal development of students, was inaugurated by Dr. Umesh Choudhary, Head of the School of Management Studies.
Organized under the guidance of Prof. J.P. Singh Joorel, Rector of Bhaderwah Campus, the event was a testament to the department's commitment to providing students with practical experience and preparing them for the challenges of the corporate world. Prof. Joorel expressed his appreciation for the department's initiative and congratulated the participants and the organizing team for their efforts. He also encouraged the department to continue creating such valuable opportunities for students.
In his inaugural address, Dr. Umesh Choudhary underscored the significance of Management Club activities in bridging the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical application. He emphasized how these activities are essential for nurturing leadership, communication, and critical thinking skills among students. Dr. Umesh also delivered an inspiring talk on personality development, self-grooming, and creativity enhancement, which resonated deeply with the students. He lauded the collective efforts of the students, faculty, and staff in making the event a resounding success and encouraged continued active participation in future endeavors.
The event featured a special session by Dr. Rohit Bhagat, a prominent faculty member, who provided students with valuable insights into effective group discussion techniques. His session, focused on the "Dos and Don'ts" of group discussions, equipped students with practical strategies to excel in collaborative environments.
The day's activities included a series of student-led presentations and discussions. Among the highlights were a presentation on the latest developments in Business News by Riya Charak, an MBA 1st-year student, and an inspiring Motivational Speech by Arif Murtaza from BBA 3rd year. Nitin from B.Com 3rd year addressed the importance of student well-being and mental health, while Tanvi Choudhary from BBA 3rd year discussed the critical role of Career Counseling in shaping students' futures.
