Early Times Report
JAMMU, Aug 23: The Employees' Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO) of Jammu and Ladakh is set to hold its Nidhi Aapke Nikat 2.0, an awareness and outreach program, simultaneously at two venues across the Union Territories on August 27, 2024. The event will take place at Hotel Trinetar, Patnitop in Udhampur, and at the National Institute of SowaRigpa, Leh, behind the Head Post Office, Skalzangling, Leh-Ladakh.
P. F. Commissioner Shri Rizwan Uddin, RPFC-I, RO Jammu and Ladakh, will personally attend the event to address the grievances of workers and employers, offering handholding support to those in need. This initiative aims to enhance participation, awareness, and grievance redressal among the stakeholders of EPFO. The program will cover various themes including the provisions of social security, filing grievances through EPFiGMS, CPGRAMS, and other portals, education on digital services, fraud prevention, and employees' rights concerning their employers. The goal is to create a robust information exchange network and ensure that all stakeholders are informed about EPFO schemes such as Provident Fund, Pension, and Insurance. District Nodal Officers Devinder Singh EO/AO, Harshit Pathak EO/AO, and Shri Sandeep Kumar SS will address the programs at Patnitop and Leh-Ladakh respectively. The sessions will focus on critical topics like e-Nomination, Online Claim Filing, Principal Employer Dashboard, and KYC updates in UAN. Special attention will be given to grievances related to member profile updates, death cases, and other relevant issues. Additionally, a special Pension help desk will be set up to address pension-related issues on the spot.
