| SMJ organizes programme to remember martyrs | | | Early Times Report Shahidi diwas, Sanskriti Manch Jammu (SMJ) organized a special programme to remember to remember Bhagat Singh, Rajguru, sukhdev and revolutionary poet Paash. A poster exhibition depicting thoughts of Bhagat Singh and revolutionary poems of Paash was also organized on the occasion. Written in vivid colours, poster exhibition evoked great interest among intellectuals and writers attending the programme. Dramatist and founder Rangyug group Deepak Kumar, writer, poet maharaj Krishan Santoshi and Abhimanyu Sharma, president, SMJ presided over the function. Abhimanyu Sharma in his address said SMJ will very soon start a lecture serried in memory of comrade Dhanfantri. He said various studies have established the fact that Bhagat Singh was a great warrior. Bhagat Singh’s writings in paper “Kriti, his letters and personal diary point to the fact that why he was Shaheed-e-Aazam. Dramatist Rajkumar Behrupiya readout memories of Prof. Chaman lal written in memory of Paash. He also readout memorable revolutionary poems of Avtar Paash. Young dramatist Avnish Sharma presented a programme in memory of Bhagat Singh. He also readout letters written by Bhagat Singh to Sukhdev. Avnish Sharma also recited Punjabi translation of poems written by Balbir Parvana and Jagtar on Bhagat Singh. Punjabi translation was done by poet and founder of SMJ Manoj Sharma. Chairing poems recitation session Santoshi highlighted the danger of resurgence of capitalism. Deepak Kumar highlighted need to re-establish thoughts and vision of Bhagat Singh in the present time.
