Inauguration of State-of-Art Virtual Reality Lab held at IDPS Jammu

Jammu, Aug 24: In a significant milestone for education in the region, IDPS Jammu has inaugurated its cutting-edge Virtual Reality (VR) Lab today. The lab, the first of its kind in the Jammu region, is established in collaboration with VR 360 Labs and managed by Aquaplex Entertainment Pvt. Ltd.
This pioneering initiative is set to revolutionize the learning experience for students by providing immersive educational opportunities. The VR Lab is equipped with advanced VR headsets and controllers, offering a diverse range of educational resources. Students will be able to explore historical sites, engage in virtual dissections, and delve into a variety of subjects through hands-on, simulated environments.
The inaugural ceremony was graced by the esteemed presence of Prof. Manoj K. Dhar, Director of the Academy of Scientific and Innovative Research (AcSIR) and a renowned education expert. Prof. Dhar, who served as the Chief Guest, delivered an insightful address where he expressed his enthusiasm for integrating VR technology into education. He emphasized the transformative potential of VR in bridging the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical application.
In his speech, Prof. Dhar lauded IDPS Jammu for their forward-thinking approach and dedication to keeping their educational practices aligned with modern trends. He extended his best wishes to the IDPS fraternity for embedding this innovative technology into their curriculum.
The event was attended by key members of the IDPS management, including Ms. Manisha Choudhary, Chairperson; Ms. Arunima Choudhary, Chairperson of IDPS Junior; Dr. Suminder Singh, Managing Director; Mr. Swaran Choudhary, Managing Director; and Ms. Randeep Wazir, Principal. Their presence underscored the importance of this initiative in enhancing the educational landscape at IDPS Jammu.
The VR Lab at IDPS Jammu is expected to set a new benchmark in education, offering students an unparalleled platform to develop creativity, problem-solving skills, and a deeper understanding of their subjects.
