| J & K Bank Wins Trophy In 44th Annual Flower Show | | |

Jammu, March 22, 2009. Adding one more feather to its cap, J & K Bank won the first prize for the second consecutive year for ‘Best Maintained Public Park & Garden’ in an impressive show organized by Indian Institute of Integrative Medicine (Formerly, Regional Research Laboratory) here today. The World Wide Fund Rolling Trophy was received on behalf of the bank by Mr. Madan Gupta, Vice President, Jammu Central Zone. Various private and public parks had participated in the show. J & K Bank has been developing and maintaining Brigadier Rajinder Singh Park, Canal Road, Jammu for the last five years. The park abounds in 25 different varieties of forest plants, 100 varieties of ornamental plants and 40 varieties of Winter Annual Flower plants. Even the best Chinar trees with lush green leaves can be seen in the park. Maj.Gen.D L Chowdhary, GOC 26 Inf. Div. graced the occasion as the Chief Guest whereas eminent Prof. Samir K Brahmachari, Director General of CSIR & Secretary DSIR, Govt. Of India was the guest of honour.
