JAMMU, Aug 27: 5 days Civil Defence basic training programme was concluded at Govt. Degree College for women, Jammu which was started on 21-08-2024 under the supervision of Deputy Controller Civil Defence, Jammu. In the training camp 59 Students have attend the basic training. The said training was given by the Civil Defence Experts on the knowledge of First Aid, prevention, management and control of Fire Fighting, Snake bite, Choking and other basic life saving technique and preventive measures during the natural/ manmade disaster.
On the occasion, a demonstration on first aid fire fighting including improvised emergency rescue methods during road accidents etc. was presented by the Civil Defence team. Dr. Ravinder Tikoo, Principal of the College appreciated and thanked the Civil Defence team for imparting such training programme.
R. Vijay Magotra, Dy. Chief Warden Civil Defence, Jammu, Dr. Gurpreet Kour Coordinator of the programme, Dr. Palak Malhotra Dr. Neha Gupta, Dr. Qayoom Choudhary and other staff of the College also present on the occasion. |
