General Observer inspects election preparations in Doda

DODA, Aug 27: General Observer for Assembly Election-2024, AC 52-Doda and AC -53 Doda West, Aditya Negi conducted a comprehensive inspection of various election facilities in the District today.
The General Observer inspected critical facilities including the Returning Offices for Assembly Constituencies AC 52-Doda and AC 53-Doda West. He also assessed the operations of Media Cell, Media Certification and Monitoring Committee (MCMC), Election Control Room, and Video Viewing Room, among other essential facilities.
District Election Officer (DEO) Harvinder Singh, Senior Superintendent of Police Doda Mohammad Aslam, Returning Officers, Nodal officers, and other officials accompanied the General Observer.
The inspection aimed to ensure that all systems are in place and functioning effectively to facilitate a transparent and efficient electoral process.
The General Observer emphasized the importance of ensuring transparency, efficiency and strict adherence to the election guidelines.
He also interacted with the officials, providing them guidance to ensure a smooth and fair electoral process.
The District Election Officer briefed the General Observer on the arrangements made so far, assuring that all necessary measures are in place to facilitate a free and fair election.
