Successful Completion of IAP NRP FGM Program at GMC Udhampur

Udhampur, Aug 28: The Government Medical College (GMC) Udhampur is pleased to announce the successful completion of the Indian Academy of Pediatrics (IAP) Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) under the First Golden Minute(FGM) Project. The event saw the enthusiastic participation of 40 healthcare professionals from a diverse range of clinical departments.
The program was conducted and supervised under the esteemed leadership of Dr. Mrityunjay, Honorable Principal of GMC Udhampur, and Dr. Sanjay, Honorable Medical Superintendent of GMC & AH Udhampur. Their guidance was pivotal in the smooth and effective execution of the program.
The event was coordinated by Dr. Deepak Kumar, Senior Consultant Pediatrics at GMC Udhampur and the Incharge Coordinator of the program. His meticulous planning and dedication ensured the program's success.
Eminent trainers who contributed to the event included Dr. Sanjeev Dhingra, Professor at SMGS Hospital; Dr. Niraj Kumar, Assistant Professor at GMC Doda; and Dr. Vikas Mahajan, Associate Professor at ASCOMS Jammu. These distinguished professionals delivered comprehensive training in basic Neonatal Resuscitation, significantly enriching the participants' knowledge and skills.
The program was marked by high levels of enthusiasm, keen learning, and active participation, underscoring GMC Udhampur’s commitment to enhancing healthcare education and improving neonatal care in the region.
