SAMBA, Aug 29: Continuing its drive against illegal mining, Police has seized five vehicles including an excavator across district Samba which were being used for illegal transportation/mining of the construction material.
Police teams headed by SHO PS Samba, SHO PS Bari Brahmana and SHO PS Ramgarh while performing patrolling duty in its jurisdictional areas, have seized an excavator (JCB) without registration No., two dumpers bearing registration Nos. JK02DF-9551, JK02DF-6665 and two tractor trolleys without registration No. for illegal transportation/mining of the construction material in the area.
The above mentioned vehicles have been seized by Police and handed over to Geology & Mining Department, Samba for further action. |
