| Yaseen, Mir, Tarigami yet to decide on supporting NC-Congress candidates | | | Early Times Report Jammu , Mar 23- The Peoples' Democratic Front, headed by Hakeem Mohammed Yaseen, has not yet decided whether to support the ruling coalition candidates or not in the Lok Sabha election. Asked that since there was no other alternative for it as the Front is opposed to the PDP, the BJP and the Panthers Party, Yaseen today said "there is no written agreement that we have to support the ruling coalition candidates." He said "we will watch the performance and policies of the NC-Congress coalition Government and decide the issue of our support or lack of it to the ruling coalition candidates.” In reply to a question he said that "if we find it not feasible to support the ruling coalition candidate we may field our candidates in a couple of constituencies.” The same stand is being taken by the CPIM and the Jammu and Kashmir Democratic Party, headed by Ghulam Hassan Mir. Reports said that M Y. Tarigami of the CPIM, Ghulam Hassan Mir and Hakeem Mohammed Yaseen plan to take a joint stand on the issue of their support to the ruling coalition candidates. The support of these three parties may help those candidates who are backed by them as three have pockets of influence in the Kashmir valley.
