Plantation drive undertaken by Rich Harvest

JAMMU, Aug 30: To give impetus to the campaign ek ped maa ke naam Rich Harvest School in collaboration with the Rotary Club conducted an impressive Plantation Drive to combat Climate change. The Head of Institute Anita Bhatia accorded a warm welcome to distinguished guests from the Rotary Club--District Governor P S Grover, past District Governor Dr Dushyant, President Balvinder Singh, Secretary Dr Anamika, Joint Secretary Prof. Ranjit Singh Jamwal and Vocational Director Dr Sandhya Bhardwaj in the presence of the School Management Gambhir Dev Singh Charak--Managing Director and Ruchi Charak-- Director.
Dr Sandhya in her address encouraged children to plant and safeguard trees for the preservation of our precious ecosystem.
The Managing Director of RHS outlined the numerous benefits of living in harmony with mother nature.
Around a hundred trees were planted by the distinguished guests and students in the sprawling campus of Rich Harvest. The students took a pledge to look after the saplings until they become trees.
