Thannamandi, Aug 30: The Electoral Literacy Club at Govt. Degree College Thannamandi organized an online quiz competition on voter awareness under the proficient guidance of Principal Prof. Dr. Farooq Ahmed. The event aimed to educate citizens about the electoral process and encourage young voters to participate in the democratic process. The competition saw a number of participants showcasing their knowledge on voter rights, responsibilities, and the electoral process. The quiz consisted of multiple-choice questions and was held on Online Platform. The Electoral Literacy Club, comprising of faculty members: Prof. Supriya Gupta, Dr. Junaid Ahmed, Dr. Ather Raina, Prof. Rumi Dar, Prof. Nagina Kouser organized the event. Principal Dr. Farooq Ahmed congratulated the Electoral Literacy Club on this initiative, saying, “Empowering young minds with knowledge and encouraging them to participate in the democratic process is crucial for our nation’s future. Those who qualified the quiz were awarded with certificates of appreciation.
The Electoral Literacy Club plans to organize more events and activities to promote electoral literacy and citizen engagement in the democratic process. |
