Jammu District Rollball C’ship concludes

Jammu, Aug 30: The District Jammu RollBall Championship concluded yesterday at the M.A. Stadium Skating Rink in Jammu, with around 100 players participating. Despite rain interruptions, which limited the event to junior category matches, the championship showcased some intense competition. In the Under-11 category, Team Orange and Team Green were declared joint winners as the final match was halted by rain. In the Girls’ section, Team Orange, led by Urwah Sajjad, emerged victorious, while the team led by Dhwani Nanda was the runner-up. In the Boys’ Junior section, the team captained by Anant Badyal claimed the title by defeating the team led by Samuel Khokhar.
The matches were conducted under the supervision of Jamba and Anthiksh. Other key attendees included Madhu Sharma, the tournament coordinator, and officials Vishali Bagal and Rita Rehan. Khushi Gupta, an international Rollball player, presented the prizes to the winners.
Saanjali Singh was facilitated as the youngest participant in the tournament, receiving special recognition for her enthusiasm and participation.
