Jammu, Aug 30: As their political mentor Ghulam Nabi Azad has betrayed them at a crucial time, some senior leaders of the Democratic Progressive Azad Party (DPAP) have approached Congress for proper rehabilitation in the ongoing Assembly elections in Jammu and Kashmir.

As reported earlier, Ghulam Nabi Azad has discredited his own political outfit which was founded in September 2022 by announcing not to campaign in the Assembly elections.
After 13 candidates of his party filed their nomination papers for the first phase of Assembly elections, Ghulam Nabi Azad announced not to campaign for party candidates citing health issues.
