Refresher cum Orientation Course concludes at SKPA Udhampur

UDHAMPUR, Aug 31: A five-day Refresher cum Orientation course for officers and officials of the Executive Wing concluded today at the Sher-i-Kashmir Police Academy (SKPA) Udhampur. The program, which commenced on 27th August 2024, saw the participation of twelve officers and officials ranging from Constable to Inspector rank.
The course was meticulously designed to update participants on the latest developments in the field of investigation, legal changes brought about by the J&K Reorganization Act, and other crucial aspects of law enforcement.
A valedictory function was held at the Academy to mark the culmination of the course. Ramnish Gupta, JKPS, SSP, and Deputy Director (Administration) at SKPA, served as the chief guest for the event. In his valedictory address, Ramnish Gupta emphasized the importance of possessing professional knowledge of the law, highlighting that such knowledge enhances one's personality and effectiveness in the field.
He congratulated the officers of the Academy for their efforts in organizing the course efficiently and smoothly. Gupta also extended his best wishes to the participating officers and officials, encouraging them to apply the knowledge and skills acquired during the training to their respective roles in law enforcement.
The course was coordinated by Inspector Vikas Manhas, with assistance from ASI Ashok Kumar, both of whom are members of the Academy's faculty.
The training program was well-received, and participants are expected to implement the ideas and techniques learned to enhance their performance in their respective fields.
