| Bhat demands adequate compensation to fire victims | | |

Srinagar, Mar 23- PDP General Secretary and MLA Bandipora Nizamudin Bhat has expressed deep concern over the incident of Garoora Bandipora where some houses gutted in a devastating fire and urged the government for their immediate rehabilitation.
Bhat said that substantial relief amount for this purposes of Rs 20000 per family disbursed by the Government among the sufferers is not at all sufficient and urged the Government to further enhance the amount of relief. He said people have lost their home and hearths and their sufferings cannot be overlooked and taken casually.
Bhat demanded immediate arrangement of rehabilitation on war footing by providing free ration, CGI sheets and Timber and all basic essentials. He also demanded rehabilitation of early sufferers and provision of loan facilities to the sufferers so that they can rebuild their homes again.
