Red Ribbon Club of GDC Paloura culminates celebration of International Youth Day 2024

JAMMU, Sept 2: In culmination ceremony of International Youth Day 2024, the Red Ribbon Club of Government Degree College Paloura in collaboration with J&K AIDS Control Society organized a slogan competition, aimed to promote their complex ideas into a few powerful words, improving their creative and communication skills.
Dr. Kulvinder Kour, Principal of the College encouraged students to participate in these kind of activities in large scale. She further says that the young age is full of motivation and new ideas and need the right direction to shed their energy to take their country on a progressive path and also boosts the young to work for the betterment and in nation-building activities.
Nearly 40 students participated in the poster making competition. First position was secured by Muskan Dalbotra of Semester V, second position was shared by Payal Chib and Divansh Manhas of Semester V & III sem resp., third position was achieved by Simran Bhushan of Semester V. The competition was adjudged by Dr. Shivani Sharma (HOD Education) and Prof. Vijay Kumari (HOD EVS).
The programme was coordinated by Prof. Moni Mehra (Convener Red Ribbon Club), Dr. Gaurav Kumar, Dr. Seema Devi, Prof. Kusha Sharma, Prof. Neha Bhagat, Prof. Poonam Sharma and Dr. Sikander S. Khan.
