JAMMU, Sept 2: In a significant move to promote electoral literacy, the Government College for Women, Bhagwati Nagar, has launched its new Electoral Literacy Club Wall Magazine. The initiative, inaugurated under the patronage of Dr. Meeru Abrol, Principal of the College, aims to enhance awareness about the electoral process and encourage informed participation among students and the local community.
Created by students, the Wall Magazine serves as an engaging platform for disseminating essential information on democratic values, the importance of voting, and the electoral process. It features a combination of articles, infographics, and creative visuals that simplify complex electoral concepts, making them accessible and appealing to readers of all ages.
Covering a wide range of topics, the magazine provides insights into the electoral system, voter registration procedures, candidate profiles, and the importance of informed voting.
