Natrang Delivers Captivating Theatrical Presentation of 'Operation Kala Jungle'
9/2/2024 9:30:25 PM
Early Times Report
JAMMU, Sept 2: Natrang delivered a remarkable performance of their latest theatrical piece, 'Operation Kala Jungle,' at Meerut Cantt on the occasion of the 21 Mahar Regiment's Raising Day. The presentation, based on a real-life operation executed by the courageous 21 Mahar Regiment of the Indian Army, was a standout highlight amid a series of celebratory events that included dances, singing, sports activities, and gymnastics.
'Operation Kala Jungle' was a vivid portrayal of a significant military operation conducted by the 21 Mahar Regiment in June 2023. The regiment's daring mission, carried out in Jammu & Kashmir, was based on crucial intelligence and involved intercepting individuals who had crossed the Line of Control (LOC) with a substantial cache of ammunition, weapons, and narcotics. The successful operation prevented what could have been a catastrophic event.
The theatrical presentation was conceived by Mrs. Seegar Bhushan Chauhan and designed and directed by Sumeet Sharma. The script was crafted by Pritam Katoch, while the audiography was handled by Nitish, and choreography was provided by Sunny Mujoo. Notably, the performance was unique in that it featured no professional actors; instead, it was brought to life by the Army men themselves, adding an authentic and impactful dimension to the depiction.
The performance was met with widespread acclaim for its poignant and engaging representation of the valor and dedication of the 21 Mahar Regiment. The event underscored the regiment's extraordinary service and commitment to national security, celebrated with a powerful and moving theatrical experience.
