Rotary club Jammu city organises a Governor's official visit

JAMMU, Sept 2: The Rotary Club of Jammu City along with Rotary club Jammu Bahu, Rotary club Jammu Trikuta and Rotary club Jammu Aastha organised a Governor official visit of District Governor Dr. P. S Grover.
The visit provided an opportunity for the club's Presidents Rtn. Shivangi Gupta,Rtn. Ritesh Gupta , Rtn. Baldev to present a comprehensive overview of the remarkable projects undertaken during their tenure over the past two months.
President Shivangi Gupta ( Rotary club Jammu city)in her address, highlighted the club's commitment to service and community development. She provided an overview of the ongoing and completed projects, which are designed to bring lasting positive change in community. She discussed that the Rotary Club of Jammu City organized free health camps, offering medical check-ups and consultations to underserved communities. She further added that recognising the importance of environmental stewardship, the club initiated a multiple plantation drive. She also mentioned about Annapurna project, donation of air cooler was also accomplished by the club . She also added that Tranga bike rally was also organised as a part of Independence day celebration to promote peace and harmony in the the city.
During her presentation, President Shivangi Gupta also outlined her vision for the future, emphasizing the club's dedication to expanding its reach and impact. She shared details of upcoming projects, including: Expansion of Healthcare camps, awareness camps and Sustainable Development Projects Continuing the focus on environmental conservation.
The event saw a anthusiastic participation from club members including Rtn . Prashant Singh ( secretary) , Rtn. Pawan , Rtn . K. K Sharma , Rtn. Sham Sundan, Rtn. Arvind Kotwal and Rtn Jyoti Gupta . The whole event was well coordinated by Rtn. Robin Singh and Rtn . Sanjeev Vaid and the master of ceremony was Rtn. Vishali Goel.
