Srinagar, Sept 4: In a significant show of strength, BJP candidate for the prestigious Lal Chowk Assembly segment, Engineer Aijaz Hussain, led a massive rally from Balhama to the Returning Officer's office in Srinagar today. He was accompanied by BJP National Executive Member and senior party leader Dr. Syed Darakhshan Andrabi. The rally, which saw the participation of hundreds of vehicles filled with enthusiastic supporters, culminated in Engineer Aijaz Hussain submitting his nomination papers for the Lal Chowk constituency.
Addressing the media during the event, Dr. Andrabi praised the young leadership within the party, attributing the energy and enthusiasm among the cadres to their influence. "BJP has infused fresh and soothing air into the political arena of Kashmir. We don't rely on political rhetoric; our agenda is clear—peace and development in Jammu & Kashmir," Dr. Andrabi stated.
She commended the supporters of Engineer Aijaz Hussain for launching a positive and impactful campaign, expressing confidence that his candidacy would yield historic results in the Lal Chowk Assembly seat. Dr. Andrabi highlighted the transformed political climate in Kashmir, noting that the region is now experiencing election time like a festival, free from the violence and coercion of the past.
