SAMBA, Sept 5: Police has arrested an accused person within 24 hours in a Protection Of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act registered at Police Station Samba through Police Post SIDCO Samba. Acting over a written report lodged by the mother of victim minor girl student, a case FIR No. 227/2024 u/s 65(1), 352(1), 3/4 POCSO Act got registered at Police Station Samba through Police Post SIDCO Samba.
Immediately upon registration of FIR, various police teams under DySP Hqrs Samba led by SHO PS Samba and IC PP SIDCO were constituted and they swung into action and ultimately arrested the accused person within 24 hours of the registeration of FIR. The accused person has been identified as Mithun S/o Mithlesh R/o Gaya Bihar A/P SIDCO Phase-1, Samba. |
