| Revenue realization during current fiscal reviewed: Nehru | | |

KARGIL, MARCH 23 – To discuss and review the status of revenue realization by various Government agencies during the year 2008-09, Deputy Commissioner and Chief Executive Officer, LAHDC, Kargil, Mr. Satish Nehru convened a meeting of officers here today.
Among others, officers of Power Development Department, Public Works Department, Agriculture, PHE, Handicrafts, Handloom, Tourism, Animal and Sheep Husbandry Departments were present in the meeting.
It was disclosed in the meeting that an amount of Rs 203.27 lakh was realized so far as revenue by the various departments against the target of Rs 303.64 lakh for the current financial. Out of the total revenue realized, Rs. 108 lakh was collected under Power sector while Rs. 26 lakh under Mechanical division. It was also given out that Rs. 24 lakh under PWD sector and Rs. nine lakh revenue under Animal Husbandry department have been realized so far during the current fiscal.
The Deputy Commissioner stressed upon the officers to ensure full realization of electricity bills, water tax and other taxes by the end of this month. He also exhorted upon the concerned Drawing and Disbursing Officers not to release pay dues of their employees for the month, till the submission of clearance from PDD, PHE and PWD departments
