Lecture on teaching & philispies of Dr S Radhakrishnan held at GCOE, Jammu

JAMMU, Sept 6: To commemorate Teacher's Day Celebrations, 2024, a lecture based activity was organised by the Cultural Committee in Government College of Education, Jammu, The lecture activity was performed by the student participants based on the themes as Teachings and Philosophy of Dr. Sarvapalli Radhakrishnan and Importance and Moral Responsibilities of Teachers in Indian Society. The main objective behind this event was to honor the birth anniversary of Dr. Sarvapalli Radhakrishnan a distinguished teacher, philosopher and second president of India. Worthy Principal, GCOE, Jammu, Dr. (Prof.) Jyoti Parihar, appreciated the efforts of students and participants. Dr. Davinder Kour, Convener Cultural Committee, also highlighted the achievements and characteristics of great teachers who impact our lives.
The event was also organised under the patronage of Wothy Principal Dr. (Prof.) Jyoti Parihar, able guidance of Dr Sunanda Rani Dean student welfare and coordinated by Convenor Cultural Committee Dr. Davinder Kour, Prof. Balwan Singh, Prof. Kiran Thapa, Prof. Sarita Dogra and Dr. Shalini Sharma and other teaching and non teaching faculty members. Student volunteers who participated in the activity include Aayushvi Sharma, Shreya Sethi and Lakshmi. The event concluded with vote of thanks by Dr. Shalini Sharma.
