Arshia Talla of DPS Jammu shines in natinoal dance championship

JAMMU, Sept 6: Arshia Talla (V-D), a student of Delhi Public School Jammu brought laurels to the school and her parents by securing 3rd place in National Performing Arts Championship 2024 organized by Performing Arts Association of India held at Ayodhya (U.P) from 31st Aug to 1st Sept, 2024. Arshia was among the 43 other participants from J&K wherein she had performed Garba (a traditional folk dance of Gujarat) in her final round and secured the 3rd place. She had also received Certificate of Appreciation, Award of Appreciation and a Memento.
In addition to this, Aarvi Gupta (V-F) also participated in the same championship where she had performed Bharatnatyam free style fusion dance and received Certificate of Appreciation. Earlier too, they both had also performed at the state level. The esteemed management of DPS Jammu, President-RCT, M.K. Ajatshatru Singh, distinguished Pro Vice Chairperson, Kuwarani Dr. Ritu Singh, Director- S.S. Sodhi along with Principal-DPS Jammu, Ruchi Chabra and staff congratulated Arshia, Aarvi and their parents for their achievements. They also extended their best wishes to both for all their future endeavours.
