SJM holds seminar-cum-workshop on Entrepreneurship

JAMMU, Sept 8: The Swadeshi Jagran Manch (SJM) organised seminar-cum-workshop on Entrepreneurship to create awareness among students for skill development here today at Muni Kamal Public High School, Gangyal.
The programme was held under the leadership of Anita Sharma, Mahila Pramukh of SJM, Jammu Province under the aegis of Swavalambi Bharat Abhiyaan movement, Udyamita Protsahan Sammelan. The motive of programme is to encourage and inculcate a culture of entrepreneurship among students which is being held from August 21 to October 2, 2024 throughout the country.
While speaking, Anita Sharma highlighted the importance of Swadeshi products and contribution of domestic products towards the economy of the country. She emphasised the Government efforts to make self reliant India and generated employment by adopting Swadeshi products. She lauded the women's contribution towards welfare of the society and laid stress on their confidence besides facing challenges without fear.
Meenakshi Devi, Principal of the School, lauded the efforts of Swadeshi Jagran Manch and its contribution towards the society for organising such programmes for the betterment of society while promoting entrepreneurship and skill development.
Large number of students including women attended the seminar and were awared about Skill Development programmes including computer, handloom, handicraft, stitching, beautician, painting, agriculture, horticulture, etc.
Among others who addressed on the occasion included Suman Bansal, Shakuntla Gupta and Raj Kumari Sharma.
