| JU shoot out case: One of the three accused arrested | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu, Mar 23: Police today arrested one of the three accused who fired gun shot in the VC chamber a couple of days ago causing injuries to security man. The incident occurred when student were holding protest demonstration outside VC chamber. After the incident trio rushed from the spot. Police had been conducting raids in order to arrest them and today a police team comprised of SHO Gandhi Nagar Sultan Mirza,SHO Digana Karan Chalotra and Incharge police post Nehru Market under the supervision of SP City South Mubisher Latifi on direction of SSP Jammu Manohar Singh on tip off conducted a raid in the abandoned garage situated in the Sainik Colony area near railway track and arrested him. During his interrogation he also confirmed the name their third companion identified as Jasbinder Singh alias Shotu son of Gurbachan Singh resident of Nanak Nagar. Raids are on to nab the two others absconders, till last reports came in. |
