YRS holds awareness meet ahead of Maharaja Hari Singh Ji's Birth Anniversary

JAMMU, Sept 9: In anticipation of the upcoming 23rd September celebrations, commemorating the birth anniversary of Maharaja Hari Singh Ji, the Yuva Rajput Sabha (YRS) organized a series of awareness meetings across various localities including Nagrota, Sunisar, Krishanpur Manwal, and Udhampur.
The meetings were led by YRS President Vikram Singh Vicky, alongside former president Rajan Singh Happy and several other prominent YRS members such as Balbir Singh, Prem Singh, Balwinder Singh, Mukesh Singh, Vishal Singh, Thakur Sumit Singh, Tinnu Langeh, Sony Rathore, Daljit Singh, and Pintu Singh. Local leaders, Ex-Sarpanchs, and hundreds of supporters attended these meetings, with active participation from the community.
Thakur Sumit Singh, Vice President of YRS, along with Udhampur District President Sony Rathore, welcomed the YRS team. They discussed the preparations for the grand celebration of Maharaja Hari Singh Ji's birth anniversary on 23rd September.
During the event, YRS President Vikram Singh highlighted Maharaja Hari Singh Ji's contributions and his pivotal role in shaping the identity of Jammu & Kashmir, stating, "We proudly say we are Indians because of Maharaja Hari Singh Ji." Former President Rajan Singh Happy addressed the challenges currently facing Jammu & Kashmir, urging unity and determination in fighting for the rights of the region's people.
Vishal Singh, YRS Spokesperson and Media Coordinator, emphasized the significance of Maharaja Hari Singh Ji in the identity of Jammu & Kashmir, stating, "Maharaja Hari Singh Ji is our pride, and Jammu & Kashmir is our identity."
The meetings concluded with powerful slogans such as "Maharaja Hari Singh Ji Amar Rahe," "YRS Zindabad," "Duggar Ekta Zindabad," and "Jai Jammu Kashmir," with an appeal to the public to join the grand rally on 23rd September. The rally will commence at M.D. Resort Bantalab, Jammu, paying tribute to the legacy of Maharaja Hari Singh Ji.
