| JKATA celebrates its first foundation day | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT Jammu, Mar 24- Jammu and Kashmir Agriculture Technocrats Association (JKATA) today has celebrated its foundation day. Speaking on the occasion, Surinder Randotra, president of the association said that association was formed on March 24, 2007 to fight for the cause of agriculture technocrats of the state who are being given step motherly treatment for over a decade by the successive state governments. ‘Due to the cohesive efforts of the members of the association, technocrats got absorbed under Rehber-e-Zirat Scheme in agriculture production department’, he said and adding, ‘association will continue its struggle in future’ Rajeev Sharma, general secretary said that for the pending demand of SRO regarding their regularization, two meetings with Chief Minister, cabinet minister and political advisor to Chief Minister were held and we are expecting that Government shall be issuing a SRO regarding regularization and permanent absorption of technocrats in the Government service after ensuing Lok Sabha elections. Among others present on the occasion were Dr Amit Gupta, Dr Vinod Sharma and Dr Jitender Verma. |
